Happy is the new Healthy!

I’m so excited to present an afternoon of Yoga + Chocolate at Flow Yoga on March 7. The workshop will be highlighted by the philosophy in my new book Happy is the New Healthy.


The book was inspired by a 111 year old women I met in NYC.

Of the 7 billion people on the planet, only around 60 people are 110 years or older. They are called supercentenarians and they have so much to teach us.

–This 111 year old was not gluten-free, did not do Weight Watchers, and thought “paleo” and “vegan” were the names of dogs.


–She came back from 4 divorces to marry for a 5th time. In other words, happy people are resilient people!

—Her 3 tips for healthy living were…

  1. Sex
  2. Vodka
  3. Spicy food.

She took the bull by the horns. She CRUSHED life for 111 years… One. Moment. At. A. Time.

My workshop on March 7 will combine flowing yoga, awesome music, exotic Vosges Chocolate, and some of my book’s 31 Ways to Relax, Let Go, and Enjoy Life NOW.

This will be an afternoon of resetting your priorities, living in the moment, and remember you don’t need a long journey or a monumental accomplishment to be happy.
