Ayurvedic Retreat – Lifestyle & Practices
This long weekend retreat we will explore the Ayurvedic lifestyle through experiential activities that align with the ancient practice of self-care. As the sister science to yoga, Ayurvedic practices can improve overall health and well-being.
This weekend will include lectures, practices, hands-on cooking, hiking, journaling and so much more. We will be nestled in the beautiful Loudoun County countryside as we unplug from the outside world and reconnect with ourselves in a retreat setting. Yoga practices will include pranayama, meditation, yin, yoga nidra and vinyasa to bring about balance for the mind-body.
During this 25 hour weekend module we will explore:
– Complementary Practices
– Cooking for health
– Creating holistic balance
– 25 CEs for all RYTs
**This course is open to students with a steady practice who wish to learn more about Ayurveda and bring balance to their life journey.
