Advanced Yoga Student Practicum
with Courtney Silverthorn, E-RYT 200, YACEP
Are you ready to go beyond asanas? Are you looking for a way to deepen your practice with content that is focused on being a yoga practitioner rather than a yoga teacher? Flow Yoga is offering an in-depth study course for students that are ready to take their yoga practice to the next level. Part lecture, part book club, part semi-private classes and workshops, this training will give you deeper foundations in yoga philosophy, a better understanding of your body, the confidence to build a home practice, and the opportunity to develop your postures and yourself.
Join Courtney Silverthorn, E-RYT 200 and veteran Flow teacher, for four immersive weekends devoted to helping you grow as a yoga student. Each morning will begin with a full yoga practice incorporating hands-on adjusts and assists, followed by meditation and a discussion of the course readings. The remainder of each day will be devoted to studying basic anatomy and yoga topics such as energetics and pranayama, as well as workshop-style explorations of various postures. The course will conclude with a mala-making session, offering students the opportunity to capture their intentions for their continued practice and growth in their own personalized malas. Participants will have access to a private Facebook group during the course to engage in discussion and ask questions about the material.
This course is limited to 12 participants and is recommended for students with at least 6 months of yoga experience. Yoga teachers are also welcome to register as a refresher of YTT course contents; 60 CEUs are available.
