This weekend covers the physical anatomy of yoga and basic biomechanics as they relate to teaching in a safe, embodied, and individualized way. The intention is to help teachers feel familiar and comfortable with major anatomical and kinesiological concepts.

During this 20 hour module we will explore:
– The basic structure and function of the nervous system and organs
– Location, function, and relationships of major bones and muscles in the body
– Major movements and boney landmarks of the body
– Fascia relationships that inform global body movement
**This course is open to students with a steady practice who wish to learn more about anatomy and movement.

There is a $150 non-refundable non-transferable processing fee included in your payment for the full program cost and a one time $25 non-refundable non-transferable processing fee for A La Carte participants.
